Following last week’s concert of Mahler’s Symphony No. 6, Chief Conductor Emmanuel Villaume returns to the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra this week to lead a program of Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms — three composers he explored with the orchestra in December — on February 20 and 21.
The program begins with Mozart’s ebullient Overture to Le Nozze di Figaro, which is followed by Brahms’s Concerto for Violin, Cello, and Orchestra in A Minor. The evening concludes with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in A Major. For more information, click here.

Après l’orchestration de la « Symphonie n ° 6 » de Mahler la semaine dernière, le chef d’orchestre principal Emmanuel Villaume revient à l’Orchestre philharmonique de Slovaquie les 20 et 21 février pour conduire une programmation de Mozart, Beethoven et Brahms – trois compositeurs qu’il a déjà explorés avec l’orchestre en décembre dernier.
Le programme commence par l’exubérante ouverture des « Noces de Figaro » de Mozart, suivie du « Concerto pour violon, violoncelle et orchestre en la mineur » de Brahms. La soirée se terminera par la « Symphonie n ° 7 en la majeur » de Beethoven. Pour plus d’informations, cliquez ici.
Nachdem er in der vergangenen Woche Mahlers Sinfonie Nr. 6 dirigierte, wird Chefdirigent Emmanuel Villaume am 20. und 21. Februar an die Slowakische Philharmonie zurückkehren, um ein Konzert von Mozart, Beethoven und Brahms zu leiten – drei Komponisten, mit denen er sich schon mit dem Orchester im Dezember eingehend beschäftigte.
