Announcing Emmanuel Villaume’s 2016-2017 Season

Including performances at The Dallas Opera, The Metropolitan Opera, PKF Prague Philharmonia, Jerusalem Symphony as well as the Slovak Philharmonic.

Emmanuel Villaume is excited to announce his 2016-2017 season, featuring a mixture of concert appearances and opera productions. Currently in his fourth year as Music Director of The Dallas Opera, Maestro Villaume will lead the company’s 2016-17 season in performances of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Jake Heggie’s Moby Dick, and Bellini’s Norma. As Music Director and Chief Conductor of the PKF – Prague Philharmonia, he will perform with the orchestra in five concerts this season.

 

In March 2017, Maestro Villaume returns to The Metropolitan Opera for his acclaimed interpretation of Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette.

Even though he has stepped down as the Principal Conductor at the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Maestro Villaume will have a single performance with the orchestra in June 2017.
