In its second week under the helm of Emmanuel Villaume, the National Youth Orchestra of Canada’s 2014 tour continues with performances in Ontario. On July 24, Emmanuel leads the young musicians of the NYOC in violist and NYCO alumnus Neal Gripp’s Passacaglia, Strauss’s Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks, and Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, “Titan.” The performance takes place at Kitchener’s Centre in the Square.
Emmanuel reprises Strauss and Mahler on July 28 at Toronto’s Koerner Hall, alongside the premiere of Jordan Pal’s the afar. Click here for full details on the NYOC’s 2014 tour.

Dans sa deuxième semaine sous la houlette d’Emmanuel Villaume, la tournée 2014 de l’Orchestre National des Jeunes du Canada se poursuit avec des spectacles en Ontario. Le 24 Juillet, Emmanuel dirige les jeunes musiciens altistes de l’ONJC qui jouent Passacaille, composé par l’ancien élève de l’ONJC Neal Gripp, puis Les Joyeux Polissons de Till Eulenspiegel par Strauss, et enfin la Symphonie numéro 1 de Mahler, aussi appelée «Titan». La représentation a lieu au centre de Kitchener dans le square principal.
