Emmanuel Villaume’s tour with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada concludes this week with performances in Edmonton, Kelowna, and Vancouver. Tonight’s concert in the capital of Alberta hears the French conductor leading the NYOC in Wagner’s Preludes to Acts I and III of Lohengrin, Ginastera’s Harp Concerto, Pal’s the afar, and Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé. The program is reprised on Friday in Kelowna.

La tournée d’Emmanuel Villaume avec l’Orchestre National des Jeunes du Canada se conclut cette semaine avec des représentations à Edmonton, Kelowna et Vancouver. Lors du concert de ce soir dans la capitale de l’Alberta, le chef d’orchestre français dirigera l’ONJC dans les Préludes aux actes I et III de Lohengrin de Wagner, le Concerto pour harpe de Ginastera, The Afar de Jordan Pal, et Daphnis et Chloé de Ravel. Le même programme sera repris vendredi à Kelowna.
La tournée 2014 de l’Orchestre National des Jeunes du Canada se clôture dimanche au Chan Centre de Vancouver, avec Passacaille de Gripp, ainsi que Les Joyeux Polissons de Till Eulenspiegel par Strauss et la Symphonie no 1 de Mahler, «Titan».
