Emmanuel Villaume looks forward to a 2014-15 season that mixes concert appearances and opera productions. His calendar of appearances begins on September 26 with the Slovak Philharmonic, where he serves as Chief Conductor. Further performances with the orchestra occur in December, January, February, May, and June.

In October, Emmanuel can be heard leading the 2014 Richard Tucker Gala at Lincoln Center on the 12th before heading to the Dallas Opera where, as Music Director, he opens the company’s season with Le nozze di Figaro October 24–29. Emmanuel also leads Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta with the company April 10–18.

At the end of the year, Emmanuel returns to the Royal Opera House Muscat for two New Year’s concerts on December 30 and 31 with the PKF–Prague Philharmonia. The French conductor begins 2015 with the Juilliard Orchestra on February 14, and remains in New York to lead Massenet’s Manon at the Metropolitan Opera House March 9–28. Opera and concert combine in June when he conducts a tour of Iolanta starring Anna Netrebko with stops in Lucerne, Copenhagen, Monte Carlo, and London.
